TANKERMAN CAREER ACADEMY
Admission Requirements

A student must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for admission to TCA:
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Able to read, write and speak clearly.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with no felony convictions.
  • No DUIs/DWIs in the past three years.
  • Must pass a drug screen and physical.
  • Must pass mechanical aptitude, math and reading comprehension exams.
  • Must be able to receive a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
  • The Tankerman Career Academy is a tuition-based training program. Applicants must have a letter of pre-approval from a financial institution for a loan covering the tuition fee, or verification of available funds.
